Teams Training

For larger organisations with lots of staff and busy schedules, we understand not everyone can take hours out of their working day. We can come to your premises, dynamically move around and teach everybody how to stop a massive bleed in less time than a coffee break for each group.

We Recommend

Basic Training

We believe this is the foundation that every single person in the UK should have. This covers life threatening bleeds and airway management and ensures individuals can keep a casualty with life threatening injuries alive long enough for an Ambulance to arrive.

Enhanced Training

For organisations who need it, our recommendation is that everyone does teams or basic training (depending on their risk level), with a handful of 'Enhanced' specialists. They will learn everything in the basic training and more, including how to manage a scene with multiple casualties.

Teams Training

Life threatening bleed control training for your group or organisation

This training is intended for:

  • Large groups or organisations with lots of staff, or

  • Large groups who want to learn without sacrificing too much time.

This training takes a less structured, more dynamic approach to learning. An instructor will move through your workplace or group, teaching one small group at a time in 15-30 minute intervals.

The focus of this training is to give individuals the skills necessary to stop a life threatening bleed and show them how to use the equipment in the Bleeder Bag. We ensure everyone gets 'hands on' so that an individuals first time using a tourniquet is not on a person who is bleeding to death in front of them.

We focus on fundamental principles, if participants understand the 'why', they will have the best chance at improvising the 'how' in high stress situations. The information is also kept up to date with the latest guidelines in the UK.

Participants will learn:

  • How to identify a catastrophic bleed

  • The fundamental principles behind stopping a catastrophic bleed

  • How to use all the equipment in the Bleeder Bag

Basic Training

Basic Training: Life threatening injury management - Catastrophic bleed control and airway management

Our Signature Training Package

Developed by a military medic with over a decade of frontline medical experience, Basic Training takes a no nonsense approach to managing life threatening injuries. It strips away everything unnecessary, focusing only on the essential skills needed to keep someone alive. The first few minutes of a life threatening injury are critical in deciding the outcome of the patient, often literally being the difference between life and death. Using tried and tested systems, the training is designed to be highly focused, practical and easy to retain. This isn't about turning you into a first aider, it's about giving you the knowledge and confidence to preserve life until an ambulance arrives and emergency services can take over.

Undertaking this training will also improve compliance with Martyn's law and will compliment the new BS8599-1:2019 compliant Critical Injury First Aid Kits or Public Access Trauma (PAcT) First Aid Kit.

This bleed control training has been designed so that whether you are an experienced medical professional or have no prior medical experience, you will still be able to understand and retain it. It is great for CPD for current First Aiders or First Aid Instructors but you do not need to have attended any First Aid training prior to attending this course.

We prioritise simplicity and efficiency to ensure individuals are able to use the skills they have learned when in a high stress scenario. The information is also kept up to date with the latest guidelines in the UK.
